Located somewhere in the ends of Disneyland, ZOIS (Alexander Chmiel) is starting over his musical schemes coming as the songwriter, lead singer and guitarist from a Pop Punk Band. Still deeply rooted in the arms of punk-outfitted music, ZOIS combines the sweetest of alternative rocks, mostly California emo/punk influenced based instrumentals with catchy, sensitive and youthful but honest lyrics.
Since he first dived into the science of music productions in 2018, ZOIS became a producer himself and started to take advantage of his excitement for many different genres, making him a versatile songwriter & artist who is able to coalesce the finest of genres to realise intentional ideas. As you go through his discography, ZOIS' musical evolution goes fast with a trend of hopping more and more back to where he musically came from. Releasing several singles, a four-single EP and a full length, his ways of expressing thoughts in music was becoming more and more mature, especially in songs like „9 Minutes“ or „Scrapbooks“. Nevertheless, ZOIS doesn’t keep it a secret, that he claims himself the most of music as crude and misunderstood, due to feeling unchallenged, uncomfortable and faceless.
While this was leading to troubles with identifications, he, as a workaholic, decided to give his work a cut and come up with new approaches to his own songs. That’s how „Scars (feat. DVXO)“ and „Vulnerable (feat. Nigel)“ can be considered as products of new ambitions: Putting emotions first and getting his voice intentionally well adjusted to any mood - anywhere in between your graduation party and lethargic late night hours. No wonder then, the ambitious vocalist not only almost finished the work on his second full length, he and Nigel also reconsidered Wildyears Productions to soon come up as a highly promising music collective in alternative music containing ZOIS and Nigel themselves and their future band projects.
